Strong demonstrated knowledge of special events encompassing a wide range of community needs, emerging trends, and innovative opportunities.

Knowledge of procurement practices, policies, and procedures, as well as financial monitoring to work within budgeted resources. Experience in budget preparation and management of a budget.

Sound knowledge in research, statistics, and trend analysis.

Demonstrated experience with social media content creation.

Ability to work a flexible work week (including evenings and weekends) when required.

Knowledge of applicable legislation, bylaws, and the ability to interpret legislation such as Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA), Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), Vital Statistics Act, Occupational Health, and Safety Act, Employment Standards Act and administrative bylaws.
